as for getting from building to building, at least in the fall/spring .. do people use rollerblades? is it a huge pain in the ass and a big waste of time to be constantly putting them on, taking them off, carrying them in, etc.?
i looovvveee my rollerblades, but i don't know how big of a pain in the ass it would be to lug them around once i'm inside the building.

i bought rollerblades specifically for that reason in first year. lots of other people do it as well.
but just a tip: you're not allowed to roll around inside the res buildings. you'll get in trouble.

getting in to Les Prince does not absolutely mean you have to have high averages or money to do so. It is mostly all a lottery system. However, you can make a note that those with a 95.0% admissions average qualify for a single bed space. But then that can mean any of the residence buildings. So, some people with high averages will be put in Les Prince. However, if you do not have a high average, does not mean you cannot get in. I got in to Les Prince in my first year and I didn't have a 95% admissions average.

Not that I know of. I have friends who have average grades. You need the grade cut off at least, I'm pretty sure it's just random selection. In Upper years your grades will matter with regards to which residence you get though. If you want a residence like Keyes.

Residence admissions is a lottery system. You can choose your room style and they will try and give you your preference, but the building you get is entirely random.
Les Prince is really nice -- talking elevator?? Hooray!!! Just keep in mind that all the residences have their charm. I'm sure you'll be happy regardless of where you get.
