Life Sci Seminar Courses
Has anyone taken any of the 4th year life science seminar courses? How were they? How many people are approximately in each seminar? Is it similar to a thesis project in the sense that you are interacting and doing research with the prof, but perhaps a bit less work and planning individually? I would really appreciate any answers. Thanks!

Usually in a seminar course there is like 20 ish ppl. I have heard that Dr. Pincivero is a good prof to take a seminar course with and he usually focused on nutrition and stuff. I dont know how any of the seminar courses are but I have heard great reviews of pincivero and kajura. It is not similar to a thesis because a seminar course consists of a few projects plus writing assignments. I dont know if there is any such midterm for that course...but most likely no exam. At least not for pincivero's seminar.

lisar says thanks to Shankari for this post.

Yeah, some seminars will require group projects as well including group papers, presentations, etc. Groups can be 2-4 or so people depending on the course and assignment.
