Moro is awesome. Clear, concise explanations of material with good examples. Good flow to her lectures, with a few jokes thrown in here and there to break the monotony of learning somewhat dull things like the phonetic alphabet, allophones, and morphemes.

I've never had the need as of yet to contact her directly for anything, but I've heard from others that did contact her that she is also very helpful through email or office hours.

Yup, I agree with reeves completely. Dr. Moro is amazing and she is really helpful -- always happy to help during her office hours. The Instructional Assistant Will is also great. I don't know if I would've liked linguistics as much as I did if I didn't have Dr. Moro as a prof.

Dr. Moro is easily my favourite prof so far at Mac. She explains things well, has clear expectations, and is a genuinely nice person. I'd definitely recommend any course she teaches.
