Locking up my bike
I was just wondering .. what happens if I just lock my bike up anywhere? I know it's advised that I lock it up to a bike rack, but if I lock it to say a bench or, one of those bus shelters the are on campus but not being used, would campus security take my bike?
Thanks

Campus security would give you a warning by sticking on a little yellow tag.
The tag basically says that if they catch you again they will confiscate your bike.

I found bike racks are a lot easier to use anyways, and if your lucky there is a couple that are covered by an overhang of a building so it wont even get wet

I believe so.
I didn't get one on my bike last year but I saw a few people with them.
They look like wristband / stickers. I hope they don't leave marks :S
