Why would anyone hack into your avenue account? To complete your assignments for you?

avenue account password = mugsi account password = mac email password = SIN number = birthdate = address = a lot of other things you might not want other people to save on their computers.

personally, i would even hate if anyone got my "private" email because right now i have an exemplary spam email record in that inbox

We were just talking about hacking in general.

BUT I WOULD LOVE TO HACK INTO PEOPLES ACCOUNT AND STEAL THEIR QUIZ ANSWERS OR POST STUPID STUFF TO MESS WITH THEM.

Edit: wow identity theft too...

done a lot worse stuff than that heh...it is fun....for a limited amount of time.

once i hacked an email id because that guy was messing with my gf that was so much fun.

I was chatting with that guy on msn, and I told him "If you log out of your MSN now, you won't be able to get back in"

LastPass is AES encrypted locally, all that's on their servers is an encrypted package, which is sent to your computer via SSL. For anyone to get access to your passwords they'd essentially need a small army of super computers to crack the encryption.

Using LastPass is safer than most client-side solutions and has a bunch of handy features.

nah...still a no.

I am content with using saved passwords on my own PC...at least I'd know when there's an intrusion.

there's just too much data to access on my pc.

I actually have this done myself with the FirefoxSync addon. Except I host the server too so I have nothing to worry about.... I have multiple computers sharing the same bookmarks, history, tabs, and passwords.. But only passwords to sites that I dont really care much about..

Can a mod put this in the first post, apparently you can't edit a post after 5760 minutes.

Since I like to whip up random greasemonkey scripts. I created a little script to display the login box inside the page on Avenue. It also edits a bit of the login form's properties to open the resulting page inside the same tab.

You will need Firefox/Chrome

If you use Firefox, you will need Greasemonkey (Firefox Addon)

After you've installed that, you can go to this page: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/86673

Or download it from here (first link): https://github.com/AfzalivE/My-GM-Scripts

And click the "Install" button and then "install" again when the box pops up. Load up the Avenue page to see that login box in front of you.

Lemme know if you have more suggestions for little things in Mac's pages. I could probably do the same for MUGSI.

Enjoy....or don't. whichever.

Update: Works with the new avenue design on Firefox and Chrome.

If you use chrome, install the extension Tampermonkey. It's pretty much Greasemonkey for Chrome. This link didn't seem to work without it.
