I think the best way to figure this out is to come up with somewhere on campus (coffee house, pub, MUSC) for everyone to meet and sort this out, otherwise this will just go on as a discussion. This would mean all musicians (guitarists, bassists, drummers/percussionists, keyboardists, organists, vocalists, etc) who are interested in starting a band are welcome to come out. I suggest meeting at a time on the weekend that preferably does not cut into "drinking" and party time (i.e meet at some time in the morning or afternoon). This way everyone who is interested in coming can make it without worries of having other arrangements. These are my thoughts if anyone agrees or disagrees please comment.

Agreed! That would work really well, if someone wants to keep me posted on when that's gonna happen that'd be great

Not a musician at all, but whoever loves Explosions in the sky gets an automatic win.

Only problem is like 15 guitarists will show up, 3 bassists, and 1 drummer (with no drums in hamilton) lol

Yeah I could see that happening actually. A million guitarists showing up would be horrible, yet inevitable.
I personally was looking to see if there was an already-formed band that needed some sort of rhythm player

Jesus has a point. I think it would be a great idea to do that. I've always wanted to be in a post-rock band, and I think it would be great to meet other people who are into that kind of stuff. If we can organize it, that would be super dee duper-cool. Like... cooler than Billy Dee Williams.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for people to jam with as well. I play guitar, and there's a guy in my program (B.Tech) that brought electric drums to his rez.
