Wrong. Canadian universities, just like those in the UK, are public. Obviously, we have different systems of subsidization, and subsidize to different degrees (not that different in real terms, but the UK is more heavily subsidized when you take cost-of-living etc. into consideration).

Anyway, both are subsidized. We just haven't had cuts drastic enough to make students burn cars, but that hardly implies that our universities are private.

I'm only interested in the hiring rates of the graduates, quite frankly i couldn't care less about the University "Experience" as long as i actually get a job after paying over 40k and spending 4 years of my life for the education.

Has anyone else noticed that mac students are generally discontented with everything? Sometimes I wonder if our problem isn't that things are so bad, but that Mac students are much more demanding than students at other schools.
