A friend of mine has lost her lanyard (Grey color with blue text saying BHSc Bachelor of Health Sciences) with ID and keys attached.

Her name is Mariam Besada and it'll say so on the ID. Last seen at either DBAC or MDCL.

Don't mind me but... aren't lanyards supposed to go around your neck?

Otherwise... wouldn't the stuff just be better suited to go into one's pocket?

Many people don't like them hanging around their neck so they put them in their pockets. I only use a lanyard to make it easy to handle my keys because otherwise I'd lose them.
