Lunch that's Fast to Make
Hey everyone, how is your winter break so far?

So my term 2 looks quite brutal so I need some ideas for lunch that's quick to pack and quiet to eat (no crunchy salads please! I sometimes eat in the library so it's quite awkward to be chewing so loudly)

Any ideas for a lunch that's healthy and quick to prepare? Please do not suggest buying food.

Also, where do you usually eat your lunch? I usually eat in the Health Sci Library cafeteria and it's quite spacious and quiet after around 1PM.

-cook some Campbell's soup and put it in a thermos.
-Have leftovers from dinner in a container in a lunch bag with an ice pack.

-eat in 3rd floor MSU (usually quiet with a few seats available.
-eat in a lounge or empty classroom

Sandwiches and/or wraps are quick and can be pretty healthy too. If I have time, I usually make some chicken (grilled or whatever) the night before and then add some vegetables and mayo in the morning. Works well with leftovers as well. Another option is egg salad, you can boil the eggs ahead of time and then just peel, salt and add mayo/whatever else to it and stick it in a sandwich

Pasta salads, or grilled chicken as has been said before are good options. Easy to satisfy the food pyramid. ABB and IAHS aren't bad places to eat depending on where you are

An easy meal could be to put lunch meats/cheeses into a tortilla and roll it up - good for on the go.

I'd suggest whole wheat tortilla, baby spinach, and the no preservatives deli sliced turkey breast with some mustard or hummus. It's really simple and healthy. A side of a banana and/or greek yogurt would also help you stay fuller longer.

Make a sandwich the night before and bring that to the lib. Or for dinner the night before make a bigger meal than normal, say pasta with chicken and broccoli and bring the left overs with you to school with a bottle of water and a gronola bar.
