I don't like how UofT works. Throwing as much crap as possible at you to the point where you're overwhelmed and do badly, and then curving you back to a decent mark in the end doesn't seem like a very effective teaching strategy :p

I found second year a lot easier. I slacked more, but did so much better.

I have a friend who did better at U of T first year than in high school! It all depends on your character!

That's definitely true. But their system is still a bit "overwhelming" based on all the people I know there. It's not as un-manageable as everyone makes it out to be though.

I found second year easier too. You're already adjusted so there's more time to just chill and I'd say less stress.

Yeah, lots of people have been saying that. I also heard that the expectations are a lot higher, since you are used to university and all by then.
