Mac Business I :D
Hey,

I'm starting Business I at Mac in Sept '10 and I'm looking for tips as to where to find used Commerce textbooks, tips on course selections (particularly which English courses to choose and French ), which clubs to join during first year (Business and non-Business related), and the commerce internship program. Any help from current Commerce students will be appreciated!

I'm not a commerce student, but to answer your questions:

1. For used books, check the marketplace page on here, as well as kijiji, or PM upper year commerce kids on here, like JEFF_CHAN to see if they'll sell you theirs.

2. English and French suck, don't do it.

3. Check out all the clubs at clubsfest, see what each has to offer. What someone on here likes, you may not.

Edited just for you Jeff ;D

Commerce Textbooks - you can buy used, or you can try looking for upper year commerce students........... *hides signature*

Language classes suck. Don't do it.

Clubs depends on your preferences.

Internship is after third year.

Can students take internship after fourth year too? I know that sounds a little ridiculous since we'll already be graduates but the idea of staying an extra year after internship isn't that great.

That's probably something you'll have to email them about.

Either nobody brought it up at the last info session, or I just plain don't remember >_>
