from mac to mississauga help plz!
I see a lot of threads regarding how to go from Mississauga to Mac
but how do I go from Mac to Mississauga?
I read somewhere that you stop at Square One Go Bus terminal first
so according to this http://www.gotransit.com/publicroot/...rd/Table46.pdf
and I want to leave at 6:30ish, do I take route number 48?
there are two confusions here though
1. I thought it was GO Bus 46, what's with all those other route numbers?
2. What are those arrows on the chart?

also, once I arrive at Square One, is there a transit terminal in Mississauga that I can bus to from here
if so, what bus number do I take?
*once I get to Missisauga, I can call a taxi to get to my friend's place

oh! and one last question. Does anyone know if there are Beck taxi in Mississauga?

sorry for all the questions! but it's my first time busing from Mac

Go the go bus place on campus. Take the 47 to york U, it'll stop at square one. Theres a transit terminal at square one if you wanna take transit. Or you could call a taxi like you've mentioned.

The "46" route is just a general heading for GO buses 46 through 48. The 47's (express and non-express) will take you from Mac to Square One. As someone who also takes this bus, I'd suggest taking the express if you can, as it's one of the most crowded buses! It's also about 15 minutes faster. The stop at Mac shouldn't be hard to find... it's the one where basically everyone's standing!

Joyceyblank says thanks to Carrie Sears for this post.

Just to add;

The 47B (says Square One at the top) , 47A (says Bramalea at the top) and just plan 47 (says York U at the top) will all work. The bus drivers are very helpful, you can always just ask and they'll point you in the right direction.

A one way ticket is between 7 and 9 dollars (I forget, I usually buy passes).

Ones with letters are express (47A, 47B). It costs the same, it just means it skips some of the carpool lots. Careful you dont take the 47E (it only goes to the carpools).

Great! Thank you! Do you know what it means if the number is followed by a D? Or is there a legend somewhere on the GO website? I checked but couldn't find one.

You don't need to pay the exact amount
just hand the fee over to the bus driver and he'll give you change
