Turns out the oil slick wasn't from the plane. It was from a cargo ship that passed by in the area. This brings it back to square one...what happened to that plane?? It just can't disappear with no trace.

Even more interesting is that when family members try to call passengers' cell phones (multiple different people), the cell phone rings and rings, instead of automatically going to voicemail. I'm not sure in what situations exactly one would happen vs the other, but it is kind of weird.

Hm, I wonder what happened when they tried tracking the phones? The fact that we have no evidence yet that the plane actually crashed makes me wonder if the plane was landed somewhere and the passengers are being held hostage. Think about it...crashing a plane into the ocean isn't the most effective act of terror. I'm assuming a goal of a terrorist attack is to gain the most attention possible. I believe there is a chance these people are all alive somewhere...which in theory could be even worse than if they were dead depending on what the situation is.

I think it disintegrated in the air
That seems to be the only possibility here

I actually saw that theory in one of the articles I read. I think they're trying to track the phones but it doesn't work like it does on TV. Not sure if anything will come of it.

If it landed on water, wouldn't people be able to survive? At least some of them?
I researched plane crashes yesterday and nearly all of the ones that crashed in water 100% of passengers died. If they crashed on land (from the ones that I saw) there were at least a few, if not more survivors.
If they crash in water, not only do they have to survive the crash but they have to be able to swim and survive--not likely.

This is so bizarre, I just hope they have an answer soon.

I think that real problem that everyone should be turning their attention to, is prosecuting the captain of the ocean liner that spilled the oil!

Apparently, somebody in the cockpit intentionally turned off all the radars and changed the course of the flight.
Can someone just give me the fking answer? I'm so confused.
