How many boxes?
I've started packing, and I'm just wondering... Around how many boxes would be too many? There probably isn't such a thing as too few, but what would just be deemed ridiculous? :P I'm probably going to bring too much crap as it is, but a general number might help me cut down on stuff!

When I moved in to my double I had 3 big rubbermaid containers, a large suit case, a small suit case and I carried in things like pillow, laptop, drying rack. It really depends on the size of the boxes that you're bringing and how close you live to Hamilton. If you live in Toronto or something then I'd suggest bringing the basics of what you need and you can always go back for a weekend and grab more stuff, if you live in Ottawa though you're going to have to bring it all.

But that doesn't mean you need to bring everything you've ever owned.

If you haven't worn an item of clothing in 8 months or more don't bring it. And if you plan on going home between now and Thanksgiving you don't need to bring all of your winter gear.

Hey thanks for posting this, cause I was curious about this as well.

Also, does anyone know whether there is enough space underneath the captains beds with drawers (like the ones in les prince) for those long flat plastic storage boxes? I don't want to bring one and find out I have no room for it.

Um, if it's the ones I'm thinking about then you have four drawers that go right to the floor but I'm not positive cause there are also beds that have three drawers but still have space between bed and floor. Best bet would be to check out the les prince forums and see if anyone has posted or find an upper year on that forum who lived there last year. I think Mitch might have lived there but I'm not positive

Hey,
yes there is definitely enough space for storage containers under the les prince beds. I remember noticing that on welcome day when I went to see a double

You are right Kokosas! I was in Les Prince last year How did you knowwww? Stalker! Haha, just kidding.

Yes, Gurleen is correct. There is mucho space underneath the beds. There are only 3 drawers, not 4. Still plenty of space. I kept all my dishes, bedding, towels, non-refrigerated foods, badminton racket, unused posters, unused books, and video game cases there! I'm not sure what those long plastic containers are, but there's lots of room. It's not that high though.
