Marking in Political Science 2O06
Hello,

I am planning on taking Political Science 2O06 as it is required for my program. Can someone please tell me what this course is like in terms of marking and the layout and content of the course.

Thanks for all your help.

The layout is pretty straight forward. There's a lot of reading involved and every class is dedicated to a certain section of the books chosen. If you miss a class, you can get lost in the translation because the prof explains why certain sections are written the way they because of outside factors like time period, international affairs, etc. At the beginning of the year, everyone showed up and then the numbers dropped below 75 people per class. then the day before papers were due, you couldn't find a seat in the class. Marking is based on the papers you write (generally 1 per semester if I remember correctly) and the exam in april. The only thing I can suggest is to read the books and not miss any classes. I came to tutorials with questions especially if the time period of the book made it difficult to understand. I hope this helps
