Feona, do you know anything about Ling 2GE3? Its in the timetable, but not in the course calendar on the registrar's website, so I cant get a description or the prereqs. Can you help me out at all?

I've actually never heard of this class before, so I think it's new for this year. It's not on mac's website either. I'm going to guess that the first year linguistics classes are the prereqs, as that's the case for most second year linguistics courses. Based on the title, the class might explore the spread of English throughout the world, discussing things like creoles & pigeons. That's just a guess though. (Sounds a little like a sociolinguistics class.)

Yeah, I figured it was new since it wasnt on the registrar page. Looks similar to a 4th year class from last years calendar too.

I guess I'll have to email the registrar about the prereqs. It sucks cuz I was part time last year, so I cant get in to level 2 yet, which in turn rules out any classes that have registration in level 2 as a prereq.

My first semester is the exact same way. :(

Second semester is worse though, 7:30 am clinical is not going to be fun...

On the other hand, I'm actually excited to start my classes though!

They won't be offering it this year, as in, no one will be teaching it and you won't be able to take it.

Aww, I wanted to take Bio 2F03 this year... maybe not now that I know it's a night class. I can't stand night classes anymore >.>

Not offered
This is ridiculous. I need three more English courses for my minor, and only 1 is offered for which I am available to take. I guess I'll have to go to the department counselor.

I know what you mean. I looked for a history course to switch with bio 2f03 and all of the interesting ones I want to take are not offered.
