Materials 3F03

Dr. Coley was absolutely amazing - he really knows his stuff!!

Learn about smelting and producing various metals from ores, slags, off gasses, and everything to do with high temperature materials production! This involves mass balance, heat balance, and a specific look at several metals, such as zinc, lead, and copper.

There was one mid-term (really easy!) weekly/biweekly assignments in tutorial worth collectively 10%, and two large assignments totalling 15%. 50% exam.

Fun times! It was a really informative and interesting course that applies itself to the real world!
