Math 2Z03 Prof.
So thanks to being in engineering physics and only having one core for everything hence having the worst possible schedule I can pick between one of 2 math cors, both of which make my schedule awful!
Since right now I have non stop class for 9 hours on Thursday I'm trying to change that. To start off I am in Core 2 of Math 1Z03 with Prof. Yapalparvi. Now I can switch over to Core 1 with Prof. Gabardo (Bad thing about Core 1 is that it is on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:30 and adds on a Friday class)

I wanna know if one prof is better than the other so I can pick a core, because if yapalparvi is a better prof then I can deal with 9 hour thurs if it means I get math! Otherwise I will sacrifice my mornings for the sake of my Thursdays.

LOL.

2Z03 = epic fail, just hope you ability to learn by yourself is good enough.

You two are scaring me, I'm afwaid now.

Anyways, if you're able to switch your cores for Math outright, without changing anything else, just attend class for both for a week or so. Then stick with whatever prof you like better for the remainder of the semester.

Dr. Yapalparvi was an all right prof. He went through the material at a good pace and was easy to follow along.. Not many attended his lectures though (incl. me). Mostly due to the lectures being in the evening I guess. After having a long day and ending it off with math I just couldn't pay attention. If you fall behind in reading/doing hmwrk though you will be LOST. TedMosby had a good suggestion. Attend both classes to see who's teaching method you find best. That's what I did for a few of my classes. Though, you'll probably end up learning the material through the textbook by the 3rd week lol. =P

Just teach yourself. I regret wasting time in 2Z03 classes, since I pretty much taught myself in the end anyway.

What about Tests?
It doesn't matter since Math is taken by all Engineers?
So I'm assuming it'll be like first year math where it was on the same night for everyone.

I hope it's not in class time because then I would be screwed either way haha

The tests are always 7:00 PM at some random place according to your last name. Since you have Gabardo now rather than Dr. Protoss, your tests might be written rather than multiple choice.
