Math 2Z03 Summer School Results?
So I don't know if it's just me but I haven't gotten the final grade for Math 2Z03 (which I took in the summer this year). Does anyone know when it's coming out? I thought all results for summer school were out by July 9th...
Thanks

Yeah they still aren't up. Yazinski said he submitted them already. So at this point it is the registrar that is holding things up.

Yeah but why bell-curve? Why not just give the marks people got through the assessments?

Probably because half the class would have failed...

I went from a B to an A+.

What's wrong with people failing? Shouldn't they have tried harder and get a B+ like you did? I just don't seem to get it. People fail in highschool, they redo the course. The only difference here I see is that you pay money for your courses so you shouldn't goof around and your time should be even more well spent. =/

True, but not when the course average is really low, like in the 40s or 50s. That sort of raises a red flag that something is going on e.g. the prof's teaching style needs some work, or the assessments go way past what was covered in lectures, things like that.

In their defense, the tests were bat-shit insane, for the most part.

In high school people fail? Then thats just a different story. The material in highschool is a joke.

Math 2Z03 was not easy, but matlab helped for sure.

So they bellcurve for their own sake then?
