For all of you NOT at today's Welcome Week football game, McMaster came from 0-22 at the start of the third quarter, finishing off the game with a final score of 26-24!
Congrats to the Mauraders!!
There was a friendly bet between the Laurier and McMaster Students Unions: the student union whose team lost the game has to wear the other team's jerseys! Looks like the WLSU is going to be wearing some Maroon!

I assume so, yes. I have a feeling it'll go up on the Daily News as well. This is HUGE news. From 2004-2009 Laurier had a habit of beating Mac in football.

I just got back from watching the game
It was AWESOME!!!
at first I was like aww man Mac sucks balls
then at the end we were like YEAAAA go home Laurier
First time in like 7 years that we won against them!!!!

That was an intense game, a lot the people on my side of the seats started leaving because I think they thought we would lose at half time. But man what a turn around

I thought it ended 26-24. Mac gave up two points in the end to run down the clock. I agree though, i was an AMAZING game.

Yeah they gave up a safety in the last seconds to make it 26-24.
But wow, 26 unanswered points in the second half, great comeback.

unreal ending, laurier marches all the way down the field, only to fumble at the 1 yard line! Laurier was rattled haha

I find football terribly boring but I know this is a big thing for Mac and the Marauders and all the fans who do follow it so holla to seeing Laurier in some MAROON!
