I graduate this fall, and I was wondering if anyone knows how long my @mcmaster.ca email address will be valid?

So you are done after the spring/summer semester?

I believe it is 4-6 months after convocation; you get an email from someone telling you how long you have.

They give you the option of setting it to redirect to a different address indefinitely, though.

If McMaster University agrees to the recent MSU Initiative and push to adopt Google Apps Suite then you will be able to have your @McMaster.ca account forever!
There is a small possibility that we might be able to get Google Apps for this September(Largely dependant on costs & funding & faculty opposition and other fun stuff) but I'm not sure if we get it for September 2011 instead whether they will still allow recent alumni who are past the 6 month period to regain their accounts including their old emails

I'm pretty sure you have your MUSS email for 6 months after you graduate.

If you forward emails from your MUSS to another account before you graduate, people will be able to email your MUSS account permanently (and it will go to your forwarded inbox)

You can email UTS to double check, they will know.
