McMaster Commerce
I plan on beginning this program starting September. I was just wondering how difficult is this program, I've been hearing many drop out during the program. Also, how has your experience been in this program, what is the workload like, what kind of average you maintained so far. Thank You.

Commerce isnt really considered a "hard" program, though I've heard 2nd year is challenging.

Commerce isn't hard. Just don't **** around and be stupid.

Do your shit, and don't get drunk all the time (preferably during exams)

To be honest, it depends on the high school you came from. My high school was tough, and I was a mischievous student. So, obviously, teachers were more subjective (even though they should be objective), when grading my work.

I got into the program with an ~84% average. After first year, I made a 10.x (got to re-check), so, yeah. I know a lot of people who got in with higher grades, but did not do too well in their first year (7 ish).

Notes:
10 - A-
7 - B-

Heading into 4th year now and it hasn't been very hard. Here's the run down.

1st Year- Just don't be stupid and do your work, easy stuff and you can still have plently of time for social life and first year shenanigans.

2nd Year- Hardest of the 3, not because of content.. It's just a much larger workload (lots of midterms and group projects)

3rd Year- Stuff finally gets interesting, classes are more challenging but the workload is less. And most likely you'll be enjoying the content much more since you can pick commerce electives and a focus.

4th Year- Not there yet, but I've heard its like 3rd year.

traveler10 says thanks to pagetto for this post.
