McMaster Computer Science Society Mixer! Oct 27th
Hey everyone!

Midterms have been the aftermath of many of you, with assignments and severe amount of tests. Does everyone want a little break from all of that? Meet the rest of the computer science team, mingling, networking, and who knows, you might even start a project with them.

How many of you actually have paid experience? It doesn't hurt to gain some technical projects! So I invite you to get to know all of the computer science students of different years! How? you may ask?

The MCMASTER COMPUTER SCIENCE SOCIETY MIXER!
Yup, and when we promise something, we mean it.

This will be happening on Thursday October 27th, 2011 at 7:00pm til 10:00pm.

It'll be at the Student Center, 2nd floor Clubspaces. Directions can be found on our website

Events may include:
LAN games (of your choice)
Risk
Twister
Ice breaker games

AND many many more.

There will be pizza, and there will be non-alcoholic drinks.

Got a question? Maybe a suggestion?
Go on the forum!

We encourage EVERYONE to come! There will be fun for everyone!
Tell your friends! Tell your friends' friends.
Tell EVERYONE.
This is a BIG event and it will be something you don't want to miss.

Have a great week and hope to see you next week!

Definitely! The society is open to all those interested in being a part of the computer science society, not necessarily computer science.

However a lot of our services are catered to computer science kids, but feel free to check it out!

Pizza is good. I'll pay a visit and see what you kids are up to.

Better not be Ginos.

Currently about 30-40 first years, 10-15 second years.
Everyone else is kind of a variable.

We haven't been able to keep track of what's going on with the upper years.

no, I know which buses I can take to get home, it's just that if I can get onto a bus before 7 then I can take the express bus which is only 20-25 minutes to get home. After 7 it's more like 45 minutes and I also generally need to wait at the stop for longer.
