Mcmaster E-mail Question
When I first got my Mcmaster e-mail account, I set it up so that it would automatically redirect incoming e-mails to my hotmail account. However, the incoming e-mails only go to my hotmail and even though in the Rules section on the Mcmaster account I checked the Keep a Copy box, it's not keeping a copy. When I tried sending a message to [email protected] ster.ca it goes directly there, but when I tried sending one to [email protected] it went straight to hotmail. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hey.
Ive set it up through hotmail instead of the Rules on muss (couldnt seem to make it work properly just like you).

Go in hotmail, on the top right click options > more options > Send and recieve mail from other email accounts (2nd link).

This is how mine is setup:

Email: [email protected]
POP3 Username: [email protected] er.ca
Password: muss password
Incoming mail server: muss.cis.mcmaster.ca
Port: 995
Both boxes checked.

Delete the rules on muss, it might conflict with this.
Hope that helps.

Yeah mine had the same problem, I've just done what rijet says. It's pretty similar to do in GMail as well.
