clarification
To log on to access the e-mail, yes, you use the muss.cis one. But It should be set-up so that if someone tries to e-mail you with [email protected] it will be forwarded directly to your regular e-mail address (i.e your hotmail) (Trust me, it makes life a lot easier)

There have been issues when forwarding - the emails do not always go through.

As far as anyone should really be concerned, those 2 are one in the same

@mcmaster.ca will send it to whatever email you choose as your primary email through mugsi.
ie. if you choose your email to send it to say hotmail/yahoo/gmail/etc. then sending it to [email protected] will send it to ur selected hotmail/yahoo/gmail etc.
@muss.cis.mcmaster.ca will send it straight to your mac undergrad email accnt, and it wont be forwarded

Interesting. I did not know about this and was wondering why 2 different emails for the same purpose? Maybe a few profs don't know this either and are sending course emails using @muss.cis.mcmaster.ca . Would explain why a select few emails are not forwarded...

When I send an email to my [email protected] er.ca, it still gets forwarded to my gmail like I set it up to do. So are you sure about this?
