As of 7:30 p.m today, the internet line has been repaired and internet and email service has been restored.
In order to ensure students have appropriate time to complete assignments due during the outage, extensions have been granted:
Assignments that were due at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 25 will be due Thursday, Nov. 28.
These extensions remain in effect now that the outage has been resolved.
Student testing will continue as scheduled. The test ban (originally scheduled to begin Nov. 28) will be waived so that testing of students can be accommodated as deemed appropriate by the instructor in consultation with the Associate Dean in the Faculty.
In some instances, classes that required an internet connection may have been rescheduled. Faculty members will be flexible in accommodating student needs during this period.
