im pretty sure mcmaster med school has no pre-reqs

If you're considering med school as an option, then yes it would make sense to take med school prereqs...I'm not sure what the question is there.

Yes but other schools do, and most people apply to more than one.

Oh.. wait I'm not entirely sure if those are pre-reqs or recommended classes for the MCAT.

okay here is what I know for the mcat there is going to be an organic chemistry portion, physics, and biology. It is recommended that you take these courses so you can be prepared for the test 8) its not mandatory, you can still apply if you don't take these but off course it would be better if you do.
mcmaster med school has no required courses but other universities do (like starfish said). so they might ask for a full year of physics or biology. if you want to be exact google that certain med school
