McMaster University provost and vice-president academic Ilene Busch-Vishniac has been appointed the University of Saskatchewan’s ninth president beginning July 1, 2012.
“The job of provost is a 24-7 job and while I love McMaster and enjoyed being there as provost, I felt ready to take on the next challenge,” she said.
The search is under way for McMaster’s next provost. The committee responsible for finding the candidate will post the vacancy soon.
