McMaster To Test Outside Alarm System Next Tuesdsay

McMaster University is testing a variety of options to include in its emergency preparedness system. One such option is an outside alarm/voice system.

On Tuesday, July 29 beginning in mid-morning and continuing throughout the day, McMaster will conduct sound tests for an outside tone-and-voice alarm system through the campus using a portable siren array. These tests will be conducted at a variety of locations across campus. At times you may notice the test vehicle or hear the test alarm.

There is no need for public concern or action during this test period.

McMaster Security Services is working on several new emergency procedures which students will be informed about in September!

Keep your eyes out for the Student Emergency Guide, I'll be posting about it later on. There will be a chance for students to win money for their textbooks!
