McMaster's Welcome Day, designed to welcome incoming students to campus and introduce them to university life, will become New Marauder Orientation.
Meet your academic advisors, attend information sessions and mock lectures, and learn about some of the habits and behaviours that will help you be successful in university.
Parents and families are new Marauders, too, so this day is for everyone.
What’s the same:
· Sessions on academics, finances, support services, living on/off campus
· Tours of residence, libraries, Museum of Art, DBAC, general campus
· Involvement of all Student Affairs offices, Faculties, MSU
· Information fairs
· Pop-the-bubble tours
· Involvement of Hamilton community partners
· Alumni prize cab
· BBQ lunch (paid for by attendees)
· Free parking
