Meal Plan
I'm having some trouble accessing my account on Mac's website to view my meal plan info/data and all that. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? So what exactly am I supposed to do to log in for the first time?

after you have signed up for your meal plan...
go here: https://mealacct.mcmaster.ca/
and then press "create PIN for first time user". enter your student number, your birthdate and create a personal 4 digit PIN for yourself. after you have created your pin, you can log in using your student number and your pin to check your account balance etc.

Aah!
Okay, I just tried that, and when I hit 'Login' a pop-up box appears saying 'Start new pin-code?'. I click okay, but then I get redirected to a screen that says Wrong Account!

It sounds like you might have inputted your information wrong. Be sure to have used the slashes when you enter your birthday so it looks exactly like mm/dd/yyyy. Also, I don't think the new pin needs to be 4 digits, mine is 8 letters.

Nooooooo, haha. It's just to check out every transaction you've made with the card when school starts. You don't even have to go on it at all if you don't want to. Don't get your knickers in a twist over it

You should be able to. There's no reason you can't, if you're living in rez and therefore already have a meal plan. But there's no reason to go on there now anyway. There is nothing to see for your financial history cause you haven't used the meal card yet.
