Meal plan carry over
I had some money left on my freedom account that transferred over for this year. Can I now use this money to buy food at mcmaster or is it only for use off campus?

You can use it both on and off campus.

I believe your meal card should have usable money on it. Not paying McMaster just means you are loaning money from them, hence the 1.2% interest.
