How do I get unused meal plan money back?

The Basic portion of your meal plan cannot be refunded. However, you can get the Freedom and/or Flex portion(s) of your meal plan refunded. For this, you need a written request explaining the reason and you have to submit it to the Hospitality Services office.

If we want to use our freedom money that we have left over next year do we need to set something up or can we just use it right away?

Nope, you don't have to do set anything up.
