You might have to go out and get some of the ingredients to make this but it is SO WORTH IT. The recipe I linked to automatically adjusts itself to serve 8 but you'd need HUGE slow cooker to cook that much so size it down to 6 servings or less.
The beauty of this recipe is that you can do all the prep work in the morning, put it in the slow cooker, let it cook on low all day, and then come home at the end with a delicious meal waiting. You can feed your entire house with it or pack it up and have it throughout the entire week. It's a lotta chili.. and healthy too!
I've probably gotten 8 meals out of this dish - definitely a cost effective option.
It does take a little while to prepare and chop everything up but it is definitely worth it for the amount of food you get out of it.
Overall, this recipe gets a 10!
