As much as I dislike PETA as an organization, I'm glad that Bridges is getting the recognition that it deserves. Having vegetarian-friendly options on campus was really important to me when I bought a meal-plan in first year. When I visited friends at Western and U of T, their vegetarian options were terrible.

Plus, non-vegs enjoy the food too.

Chilli = om nom nom.

It's located in the West Quad area. If you are walking towards Keyes it's to your right (BSB is on your left).

From what I know, it's vegetarian, not sure if some items on the menu are vegan or now. Hmm, the price range isn't too bad in my opinion, but it is a bit on the pricey side.

They do have vegan food (and it is very tasty!!). On the menu, anything with (V) is vegan.

Price range is around $5-$8.

I concur. Just to emphasize that there's a difference between being a vegetarian, or even an animal rights activist and going overboard (on the order of committing crimes) like PETA.

PETA may just be one of my most hated organizations...but I have nothing against animal rights/vegetarians. Bridges FTW. Yaay

I'm surprised Guelph isn't on the list, they won last year, and they have really good veggie food. I love Bridges, but Guelph food is just amazing.

I'm also pretty sure U of T won this in 07, and that Mac placed second for 07 and 08.

Also, PETA isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Yeah, they go overboard with a lot of things, but they've done a lot to promote vegetarianism in non illegal ways as well. And most of their ads are creative and sexy, which is always good.

Plus PETA 2 gets a lot of younger people involved with vegetarianism, and makes it seem cool, without destruction of property. Just a lot of musicians and cute stickers.
