Medical Radiation averages?
Hi,

I was accepted into the medical radiation program and was wondering by how much can my average drop without having the offer withdrawn? My midterms have been pretty high, but some of my marks have dropped now and I'm a little worried if that might result in McMaster changing their mind.

Any help would be appreciated.

Something related to what your final average/marks should be, can be found in the admission offer letter that McMaster sent you (that's what Ryerson and Guelph did at least). If not, email the academic advisor for your program?

Yes it should be in your admission letter whenever it gets to you by mail.

I did receive that letter in the mail, but it doesn't say anything about it?

That's odd that they didn't say anything about it on the letter. I know on my McMaster acceptance letter from last year that they had states how much I could drop. I actually brought up by average about 5% so I could increase my entrance scholarship. You'd probably have to call the admissions office or something to find out.

I know someone who got in and recieved the letter too. It says that you must have at least 82% in your top 6 courses to still be considered for medical radiation. I think the top 6 courses also include the ones required for medical radiation.

Thank you Luna!

I checked my Offer Of Admission letter a couple of times trying to see what everyone was trying to talk about, but there was nothing, so thanks for the help.

That's unfortunate, but to confirm what Luna said I highly suggest called that department.
