Medical School Pre-reqs
Does anyone know where I could find a list of pre-req courses that are necessary for medical school here in Canada? I've heard that there a few courses that you must have if you want to get into medical school so I want to make sure I definitely have them all by the time I finish my undergrad!

http://www.oxfordseminars.ca /MCAT/mcat_profiles.php

A good start, but it's always best to check each school's website individually, as they vary

There's a thread somewhere in the forums, you can use the search function up right. You can also just go to individual med school websites.

If you want to be completely immersed in pre-med discussion, go to Premed 101. When I first explored this site, I learned a lot of information (much of it completely irrelevant to me for the next few years).

I warn you though, once you enter you may be filled with intense anxiety and desire the ability to travel back in time.

Keep in mind that a lot of schools are getting rid of prereq requirements.

Some OOP schools require a full year of English, MUN requires 2.

McMaster University Tuition: $21,567.17 [Canadian citizens], $109,282.20 [non-Canadian citizens]

I'm afraid to ask...... is this per semester?

I'm pretty sure it's per year, but it's still insane!

It varies between public and private schools:
Public (20-40,000 for citizens vs 40-70,000 for non-citizens)
Private (40-50,000 for citizens and non-citizens)

And that's just for first year students :/
