As far as I know, they do not.

I'm pretty sure they don't, however, I'm sure there's a certain GPA that you need to meet. Also, if someone is taking any pre-reqs in 4th year, they look at those as well to ensure that they were completed successfully.

As well, if you're interested in a specific medical school, it is important to take the time to visit their websites, email their coordinators and research about them individually to ensure you're getting all the information.
It is tempting to ask people to direct you to the most comprehensive listings of what you need to know, and while there are some very helpful sites out there, being able to find the relevant information yourself is an integral part of your own application and shortcuts may be inaccurate or unhelpful

could you take 2 half courses for social sciences for certain universities in different years? or would you have to take both half courses in the same year?

As long as you have them on your transcript, they don't care when you took them.

Do medical schools prefer some bachelor degree's over others? such as a business degree vs a bachelor of technology degree vs bachelor of science? or do you just need a bachelor degree in anything with a acceptable GPA, good MCAT score and the pre req courses?

The latter. As long as you have any pre-req courses, a Bachelor's degree (although you can apply after 3 years to some schools), a good GPA, good MCAT, that's all.

It depends on the medical school in question. They tell you on their websites.
