I want to know what was making the balloon just float there. Is there some vent that was keeping it there or something ?

The second floor of Mills is SOO loud.. But the first floor is pretty quiet. I was there around noon the other day for 2 hours and I wasn't distracted by the noise

I think all the floors other than the second one in Mills are quiet. Thode is also quiet, but you have to stay away from the first floor and the balconies that look over the first floor. The blender noises and chatter tend to be loud.

I don't see why anyone's complaining about that girl. I've seen much worse...

IMHO, people complaining about the noise in the Learning Commons is unreasonable until the other spaces are closed. There are enough official quiet spaces, start making people shut up in those spaces rather than forcing the LC to be quiet.
