If you get a doctor's note you can defer the exam

Yes, if you get a doctor's note you can defer the exam, which will take place between Feb 16 - Feb 19. Be forewarned, though, since deferred exams are normally more difficult than those taken during the regular exam period.

hint: check any one of your syllabus's (aka course outline) from one of your courses.

You need to get the McMaster medical form, get a doctor to fill it out for you and then take it to your faculty's associate dean office.

On the right hand side there is a "Related Topics" section. Click on illness, and have a read.

What about the special Swine flu form? Is it still possible for people to use that to report ilnesses from home and not have to get a doctors note? :S

Good question. McMaster is usually pretty tough about exams. I think your best bet is to get a doctor's note. If you're really sick, this shouldn't be a problem. That being said, you could call your associate dean's office tomorrow to ask if the H1N1 self reporting tool qualifies for exam exemptions as well.

Cowboy up and just go. Unless your terminal save yourself the grief. Even if it is the hinny(H1N1).
