I got the Fridays mixed up and thought it was next friday instead of this friday. What do I do, is there a charge?

Sorry if this doesn't answer your question but is dental included in our tuition?

I would go and visit the Dentist office tomorrow. I assume you can just reschedule. You haven't paid any money to them so don't worry.

And yes, dental is included in the MSU health and dental insurance fee that you paid as part of your student fees. You are able to opt out of health and dental insurance if you already have coverage from your parents or on your own in which case the MSU refunds those fees but you have to apply for the refund. Not sure when that deadline is off the top if my head but you can check on msumcmaster.ca

Science Rocks says thanks to Chad for this post.

You don't need third party health insurance to go to a walk-in clinic. McMaster doesn't have a walk-in on campus, but they do have Campus Health which is like a doctor's office where you book appointments in advance. Often you can get same-day or next-day appts if that's what you need. But again, you don't need third party insurance for that - it's covered by OHIP.
You can go on the MSU website to see everything that health and dental insurance will cover, and how much will be covered.

When I was there it took even longer - until January or something. If it only takes 5 weeks, consider yourself lucky.
