Missed My Exam! Help!!
I misread the time that my exam is (since I had 2 today) one at 9 and one at 7. I misunderstood I had 2 and only was thinking about one and though it was 7 even though I was prepared for both I completely forgot to go to the 9 am. I remembered at about 3 o`clock and have been freaking out this entire time. I did end up going to my 7 pm one. Guys, im seriously freaking out right now and this has never happened to me before. What can I do in this situation?
guys please help me anyways possible, i feel like im about to have an anxiety attack... can i contact the prof and try to expain the situation? has any1 ever had anything like this happen and what did u do???

This is definitely going to be a touch situation to sell, especially if you are not in first year. Best bet is trying to contact the prof.

I missed an exam last year, for a similar reason (I misread 14:00 as 4:00, and only checked the time once). You'll be fine.
I'd suggest sending an email to the prof; they may be willing to defer it to you.
Otherwise, go and talk to your department. My understanding is that there's an unwritten 'one-strike' rule in place for situations like this, and they'll defer it until June or so for you. The only catch is that you can only do this once; of course, once you miss one exam, you're not likely to miss another.
Good luck, and don't panic: you will be able to write it.

I often have dreams of waking up late for an exam on the night of the exam, so I know how you feel.

...so glad I'm not the only one. I woke up thinking it was April 22 for some reason.

Actually, my prof set up a deferred exam the next week for me. I'd talked to my department, and they were going to set it up in June.
So talking to your prof is probably best.

I once struggled through a 100 multiple-choice questions Chemistry paper the summer my high-school grades were to be released. It was two hours long and I believe I managed to complete 5 questions when dream!Teacher told me to please place my pencil down.
Not. Fun.
