i have been really really sick for the past couple of days and could not go in to write one of any final exams. i went to the doctors and he has my illness on record. what should i do? can i still write the exam? i have really good marks in the class and could still pass even without writing the exams but i am prepared for the exam so can i still write it? do i have to fill anything out? PLEASE HELP!

My friend missed his exam last semester due to to illness, he just had to go get a doctors note, and inform his instructor(quickly!) if I remember correctly. He did end up writing his exam like 2 months after the fact I believe, but I am not sure exactly. I will ask him tomorrow.GL!

Get a doctor to fill out this form for you http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /forms/MedicalForm.pdf and take it to your faculty office and request a deferral of the exam. They shouldn't give you any trouble if you have medical documentation.

You'll probably end up writing during Summer Term 1 exams (in June some time)
