Molecular Bio and Genetics Coop
So, I would like to apply to Molecular Bio and Genetics Coop, but I'm really scared I won't have the cumulative average they are looking for. I was told by the Science Career and Coop Education office that the general average they accept is between 9 to 10. I wanted to know if everyone in that program has that average or higher, and if there is a possibility that they do accept lower averages. Any help would be appreciated!

Who told you that? Mine was lower, but I think the interview and resume/personal statement are more important.

One of the students that work at the office told me that was the average people usually apply with. I was wondering how many people they roughly take and how many people apply? Currently, I'm in core bio but would prefer to be in a specialization, especially molecular bio and genetics or even better the coop program for it. I also read through the application and it seemed that you had to be in the program to start with in 2nd year in order to apply....

If you took the same courses in core Bio as you would take in the Mobo specialization then you can still apply for the Co-Op specialization. I think maybe ~20 people applied (I'm not sure about this) and they took 8.
