If you've got Facebook, there is a group called "Moulton Hall" with a couple of pictures at the beginning that kind of show how a bunk/loft room looks like. Hope that helps!

Hey guys! Jessica here, room 219 in Moulton. I hadn't even HEARD of Moulton before I found out I was accepted, and, interestingly, the one person I know who actually applied there didn't get in. How's THAT for you....haha oh well....does anyone know if trading rooms is allowed? Can't wait for Moulton, we'll HAVE to improve that party rep...

That's all up to you and your roommates. Just talk to them about it when you move in =)

I lived in Moulton last year (rm. 308) so I can answer any questions anyone has.

I think my favourite part of Moulton was the EMR (the huge common room in the basement). There are comfy couches and a big screen TV, lots of tables to do homework or whatever on, and large windows on one side (which by the end of the year we covered with drawings and equations).

I was initially disappointed with getting Moulton but by the end of Welcome Week my feelings were reversed completely. Life in residence is really all about the people you meet and the building itself is just cosmetic.

Do bring a fan though, it gets bloody hot without A/C.

KaylaMarie, ThatGuy all say thanks to Kevin S. for this post.

As mentioned above, you'd have to discuss it with your roommate, since it'd be unofficial. But just remember that you can't move your desk (which is right next to the bed), and your phone extension is tied to the side of the room your bed is supposed to be on. So, if you switched beds, you'd either have to retain the same desks on the opposite side of the room (which would be awkward), answer each other's phones (which would be even more awkward), or buy phone extension cords and stretch the lines around the room to the opposite desks (not that difficult, but you need to bring the cords and run them along the wall somewhere).

You can't ask them to switch your phone extension or officially swap sides of the room - they won't allow it. So, you have to make do with one of the options above, unfortunately.

Joyeeta says thanks to Cippi for this post.

Also, if you're one of bedspaces A or B then all you really have to decide on is who wants the top bunk and who doesn't. However if you have the loft which is bedspace C then I'd say you're pretty much stuck with that bed. The desk is right below it and the phone with that extension HAS to STAY there.
