Movie Recommendations
I'm looking for more movies to watch.. the problem is, I don't really know what "genre" the type I'm looking for falls under. I guess I'm looking for "darker" movies.

Basically, movies that resemble Sweeney Todd, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Human Centipede.

I put Human Centipede because I guess it falls under "dark," but I'm looking for movies with good acting and cinematography. So not cheap looking, I guess.

Yea, I don't really know how to describe what I'm looking for, so hopefully that does the job.

Note: I'm not necessarily looking for just super-gory. I don't care if they are or aren't, I just realized that in retrospect, the 3 movies I listed have a lot of cutting up.

(And I have no problem with musicals, obviously. )

Thanks.

Wristcutters: A Love Story is pretty dark, but its also kindof sweet and quirky, which might not be your cup of tea.

The Chumscrubber is dark, and a really good movie. Trainspotting is always a classic, although its only borderline in terms of darkness. The subject matter definitely is, but the style isn't.

The Machinist (though I think you might have seen that one) is another great dark pic.

Snow Cake, it's a really touching Canadian movie with Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver
