I agree; I'm just referring to how requests for missed work for everybody become more of a pain when things like the MSAF are abused. For individuals who need a couple of considerations per year, this is not as inconveniencing as somebody who may need more frequent considerations and has to abide by much stricter regulation each time (despite their documented situations) simply because of people taking advantage of the system.

So true, it's unfortunate indeed. It's too bad that it's the same system used for those with who truly need considerations and others who are simply abusing it. It's definitely unfair for the former group. However, there's always going through the Associate Dean's office, however inconvenient that may be.
