In addition to Temara's Sponsorship Committee, the following seats remain open for MSU members at large (sourced from the updated committee listing of June 14th, 2008)

Maroon's Advisory Committee (2)
Teaching Awards (5)
Elections Committee (1)
Honour M Selection Committee (1)
MSU Merit Scholarship Award (1)
J Lynn Watson Award Selection Committee (1)
MSU Spirit Award Selection Committee (1)

Since the next SRA meeting is on July 19th, and not in Hamilton all nominations will have to be recieved via email. Please email an SRA member (Temara or I for example) if you wish to be nominated for a seat with the following format

Please have all nominations submitted at latest by Thursday July 17th at 10pm

"I, _________ accept my nomination to the _____________ committee"

Since some seats might go to an election to fill them, it might also be a good idea to write a small personal statement as to why you want the seat and what makes you qualified (if anything) for it.

Hey SRA, I don't know if you guys will know this or not...but do you remember the MSU award that Ryan instated at the end of last year? Do any of you know if it is flying again this year?

Or should I just ask this weekend?
