Will My Friend Get Into McMaster Business?
A friend of mine wants to come over to Mac for Business 1. He is currently in high school and his grades are as follows:

English: 85
Adv. Functions: 78 (Repeat)
Data Management: 86
Economics: 85
Int. Business: 86
World History: 83.

Average: 83.83%

What do you guys think his chances of getting in are?
What % should be good for acceptance?

he should be fine.... tell him to take foods next semester.

Discloser: I'm the eMarketing Officer for the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster.

The expected admissions cut-off for Business I in 2012 is in the low to mid eighties. Last year the cut-off was 83. Based on this info your friend has a good chance.

The Future Students part of the main McMaster website has been revamped and should also be a good resource for anyone thinking of applying.

If they are all U level courses, he should be fine. If he can take another U level course, and bump is average to a 85% he has much better chances.
