National Ice Cream Day

Today is National Ice Cream Day...in the US.

The third Sunday in July was designated as National Ice Cream Day in 1984 by President Reagan. July is also National Ice Cream month in the US.

I say we celebrate today anyway. Ice cream is awesome: it's cool, refreshing, and nom-tastic. We can't let all the Americans have all the fun, can we?

What is your favourite flavour? How are you going to celebrate?

Cookies n' Cream with rainbow sprinkles. Ohhh yeahh.

Being lactose intolerant, baskin n' robbins and random ice cream trucks are one of the few places I can eat from and it's oh so good. So maybe I'll take a walk upto BnR today :]

Maui Brownie Madness is the best by far.

But I also loooooove Skor Sundaes. I love anything Skor to be honest. Especially those Skor Cupcakes from the cupcake shop.

If DQ made a lactose-free/dairy-free version of their ice milk it would do so well. I'm annoyed that they don't. My friend had a Blizzard last nite and I was jealous.

Feona, a lot of companies sell lactose-free ice cream now: Chapman's is one you can buy at the grocery store.

Mmmm...mint chip...

Oh, I really like Green Tea ice cream too. But not the ones you buy at Canadian grocery stores.

Is Affinity a restaurant, or a brand name?

I used to work at an ice cream outlet where we would have roughly 50 flavours of ice cream (some of them being sherbets and sorbets). A lot of them were so good, but my favourite would have to be mango ice cream...mmmm tasty
